Praeclarus are providing full Commercial Management on Costain’s NEAR package of works, fulfilling the roles of Commercial Manager, Senior Quantity Surveyor and Quantity Surveyor.  Our role also includes the mentoring of a further team of 7 Quantity Surveyors.

The Praeclarus team oversees and undertakes the supply chain procurement, management of sub-contract packages, commercial forecasting and reporting, SMRs, and managing the notification, pricing and agreement of compensation events.

Praeclarus are also actively engaged in the procurement of future works, supporting the tender process.  Praeclarus also presents regular commercial updates to the Costain Directors and the National Highways Alliance Leadership team.
